BobCAT is a freeware application for PERSEUS planned by WoodBoxRadio and written by Antonio Alliegro
BobCAT adds some nice new features to PERSEUS
- User comfigurable bands keyboard
- double VFO A/B
- Quick Memory Save
- Quick Memory Restore
- last freq. & mode uses on each band
- Synchronize an ICOM transceiver
- SPLIT operation with overlay visualization
BobCAT uses a Virtual COM to connect PERSEUS
- you can use any VCOM software available
BobCAT synchronize PERSEUS and an ICOM Transceiver
- uses a real COM to connect your ICOM
- outstanding transceiving operation with SPLIT operation
BobCAT match and improve the design of PERSEUS
- it stay always on top of PERSEUS
- it is lockabke to PERSEUS's window
- it has a nice graphic interface
- selectable amber or green LCD display
- new S-meter and new %CPU meter

How it works ?
BoCAT use a Virtual COM port to connect PERSEUS and, using
the CAT protocoll of PERSEUS, it adds his commands.
Enter the Setup, configure your ports and press Start
What do you need ?
A Vcom driver software as N8VB, VSPE or com0com, PERSEUS
running and configured on a valid VCom and a real RS232 Com
port for your ICOM transceiver
Can works with other software at the same time?
Yes, it can works with any software as LOG which needs a CAT
connection, using VSPE in splitter configuration.
BobCAT is tested with: Windows XP-SP3 , VISTA Ultimate SP1
and WINDOWS 7
